Our Skills and Experience
The major skills we have are in the UNIX and Linux related area and in software
development. We use these skills in technical training and in contracts or
project work. There is a summary below of key skills or experience.
Recent work has been for clients supporting large infrastructures of predemoniantly AIX LPARs both in
the usual LPAR and in micropartitioning configurations and also in some instances using IBM's
virtualisation technology.
Operating systems
- UNIX: from original V7 to SVR4, including SunOS, AIX, Solaris, Ultrix and others
- Linux: Slakware, RedHat from V5 to V9, Fedora Core 4 & 8, RHEL Workstation, SuSE from V6 to V8

- DEC systems (e.g RT11/RSX11)
Key programming experience
- C, FORTAN, Pascal, ALGOL, PL/M
- UNIX shell scripting (Korn, Bourne, Bash, and awk) and tools
- Assemblers (PDP-11/DEC, i8086, MC680x, IBM 360/370)
