PeeJayEff Services was formed in 2001 by PJF and traded as a Limited company until 2025 (see † below).
PJF accumulated over 40 years experience in the Information Technology industry.
PJF and the company provided services and training for
many aspects and flavours of UNIX and Linux.
Services provided included course development
and delivery, systems development and support, contract systems administration and implementation services.
PJF also provided consultancy services if required.
PeeJayEff services specialised in the UNIX and Linux arena; particularly in recent times Linux especially RHEL 6, 7 & 8. Other flavours included AIX (V4.3 to 5.3 and some 6.1), RedHat Linux (release 6 to 9, Fedora Core 4 & 8, RHEL3,4,5&6) and SuSE (V7 and 8, SLES11).
PJF no longer actively looks for work unless someone has something of a very short term nature due to no longer being a full-time contractor.
PJF thanks those companies that have used his services and former colleagues from those organisations over the last 25 years especially IBM UK and IBM Ireland, Capital One Finance, ip.Access, DXC Technology (including HP Enterprise Services) at Cobalt and Erskine, TalkTalk as part of Carphone Warehouse and NEC Software Solutions (formerly i2N).
